Skyfire the Clone

Skyfire, is a clone of Rainbow Dash.

Before her cloning Skyfire was a member of the Great Pegasus Enclave as a Field Medic. Skyfire is a descendant of Spitfire. She had a golden yellow fur coat with a fiery orange mane and tail.

The first squad Skyfire was assigned to was sent to investigate an Enclave distress signal in Stalliongrad. Upon arriving at the scene it was discovered that the transmitter was of Enclave origin but from over a decade ago. Before anypony could react a gas grenade went off and knocked them all out.

When Skyfire awoke she and her lieutenant were the only ones alive. It turned out they were ambushed and taken into the sewers to fight for the enjoyment of others. They were forced to fight ghouls and when Skyfire woke up her Lieutenant informed her that the other squad members had died and they were now up to fighting a Feral Ghoul Reaver.

Skyfire and her Lieutenant were forced to fight together against the Reaver. The Reaver seemed more interested in her Lieutenant. As the fight progressed her Lieutenant was getting extremely beat up. The Reaver met its end when it was lured to strike at the Lieutenant who was lying below a spike. After the fight she was released as she had earned her freedom.

Later she was put with another squad and during a patrol near Everfree Forest a violent freak storm caused the squad to scatter. Skyfire found Stable 108 when trying to find shelter from the storm. She didn't have any idea about this Stable and so she was unaware of its purpose. When she entered it she was jumped by a mass of mint green mares and knocked out. While she was unconscious she was fed into the cloning machine where the machine striped her apart and took her genetic material.

The machine could only create a clone of a single unicorn mare because it didn't have fresh genetic material for either an earth pony or pegasus but that changed when Skyfire was fed into the machine. It used her fresh DNA to clone Rainbow Dash.

When she awoke she was confused as she didn't remember anything at all but she didn't really have time to think as the Stable was being attacked by Motor Runner and his Raiders. Out of fright she acted on instinct and fled, she flew over the tops of the Raiders and out the door and out into the sky.

Later she found a home that once belonged to one of Rainbow Dash's Shadowbolts. As she wasn't in danger anymore she could think and soon her memories began to return. Because her DNA was so fresh it still a lot of her old self. She was shocked and at first couldn't believe that she was now Rainbow Dash and as she remembered, Rainbow was held very sourly by the Enclave.

As she explored the house she found the Shadowbolt suit in a secured locker. When she put the suit on she discovered it was magically enchanted so it hid her now natural cyan fur and rainbow hued main and tail. At least with the suit she could hide her appearance. After leaving the house she soon crashed into Zyon and from then on she travelled with Appletart and the zony.
