LNER A4 Class

This shows all three of my A4 Class locomotives.

Left is my Bachmann A4 Class locomotive with Chrome finished railings and drive gear from 1998 (bought it last year almost brand new from Arcadia's second hand shelf). Silver Fox.

Middle is my Hornby super detail model of the Mallard from 2002.

Right is my Hornby super detail quality Golden Plover from the Queen of Scots trainset from around 2003.

This shot shows the A4s from the start of their career and to their end as Silver Fox is of the era when the A4s began with the Silver and Grey livery. Mallard from the peak of their careers and Golden Plover when the A4s were among the many in British Railways and wearing the late crest.
